3M Between Coats Finishing Pads are used to prepare surfaces before applying the first coat of finish or sealer and again between coats to obtain a super-smooth finish. Contour Surface Stripping Pads. Flexible for Curved Surfaces. Replaces and outperforms #2 medium/coarse steel wool. These handy pads make stripping easier and quicker particularly on stubborn surfaces. Can be safely used with chemical strippers and wallpaper paste removers. Pads will conform to and effectively strip coatings from detailed and rounded surfaces such as spindles and chair legs.
