3M Secure Click Particulate Filter P95 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Relief D3078 is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3078 particulate filter may be used in a variety of industries such as metalworking, grinding, sanding and welding. Common uses of D3078 particulate filters include metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. In addition, solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors. The D3078 is recommended for ozone protection up to 10 times (10x) the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL). The D3078 particulate filter is recommended for relief from nuisance levels of organic vapors and acid gases such as sulfur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, and/or chlorine.
